WELCOME TO
With the FAM was founded in 2022 to give every citizen of Rotterdam the opportunity to create and experience our creative world. In recent years, we've showcased Rotterdam's dynamic culture and brought people together for cultural exchange. We focus on a diverse mix of heritage, artists, and musical talent in and around Rotterdam. Since 2025, we've become a national platform where young creators can connect and immerse themselves in diverse programs and activities.
Through Mother’s Living Room, Sister’s Kitchen, and Brother’s Art Gallery, we create spaces where people come together — every month. Young and old, established and emerging, artists and audience. We celebrate talent, community, and the richness of the creatives in the world. Not as spectators, but as part of a family.
OUR PROJECTS
Mother's Living room
In Mother’s Living Room, storytelling through music takes center stage. We provide an intimate space for both emerging and established artists to express themselves, share their stories, and connect with the audience. Whether you bring soul, hip-hop, spoken word, or acoustic sets – this is the place to make your voice heard.
Sister's kitchen
Sister’s Kitchen brings cultures together through food, traditions, and stories. We invite chefs, caterers, and mothers/fathers from the neighborhood with diverse backgrounds to share their favorite dishes and their heritage. Around the table, we get to know each other better and celebrate Rotterdam’s rich diversity. Because food connects us – and every meal tells a story.
Brother's art gallery
Brother’s Art Gallery is the place for visual creators to showcase their work, share inspiration, and learn from one another. From photography to painting, from installations to fashion – we provide space for exhibitions as well as interactive workshops. This is where visual art meets its stage and its audience.
WITH THE FAM FESTIVAL
Once a year, everything comes together. At the *With the FAM Festival*, we celebrate the full power of music, food, and art. What usually lives in separate programs merges into one vibrant celebration of connection, creativity, and culture.
Mother’s Living Room, Sister’s Kitchen, and Brother’s Art Gallery each have their own dedicated space — from intimate live performances to fragrant food stands and eye-opening art installations.
But more importantly: the lines between artist and audience begin to blur. You don’t just watch — you join in. You taste, you listen, you explore, you connect. With new people, new flavors, and new ideas.
The festival is our yearly tribute to the city. To its creators. To the families we’re born into — and the ones we find along the way.
